Welcome to the Transcribe Bentham project and thank you for your first transcript of JB/117/161/004, which was an excellent effort. We have made a few small changes to your transcript, which can be viewed at [1]. One thing to watch out for is Bentham’s use of ampersands. When these occur in a manuscript, you should click the ‘&’ button on the toolbar. This will add a piece of code (& amp;) which will render the ampersand correctly in the saved transcription.
