Observations on the Table of Cases calling for Relief.

A word or two may be of use with a
view to the comparison that will naturally be
formed betwixt the Table here in question
under the name of the
Pauper Population
Table and the other Table herewith which accompanies
it under the name of
A — Table of
Cases calling for Relief: and here as
natural a question is
— why thus make two Tables?
— why not give the matter of both in one?

The reason is AnswerShall In the Pauper Population
Table all such distinctions classes are noted — and
such only, of the numbers of which afforded
any hope of their being to be collected. To
enter into
A minute investigation of the difference
between two Tables framed for different purposes,
would be of any little use: the general account
of the matter is this. — The classes stock the where of which numbers
