Append. IV
2. Vansittart
False

Thus in the present case. Taking advantage of this
fallacious rule of judicature this
source of injustice injustice to the public which they
saw but too frequently referred to and applied in practice, the very
Reverend Divine and his cooperators affected to see, or
acted and wrote as if they saw nothing in the case but a quarrel
between the delinquent and a discarded servant of
the delinquents. The delinquent Master being of the class of those
that ride in their coaches and give go in Dr Johnson's
phrase give good fowls, to this Master was belonged of course
in their view of the matter the character of injured
excellence, the he who had no fowls to give a worthless
fellow. The interest of the public being in their
view of the matter as nothing — their optics not being
capable of taking in an object of so large extensive a magnitude
all they saw or chose found a convenience in seeing
was the quarrel with the Defendant Abbot and his
late Servant Blake. Don't inflict punishment Punish not
(for what signifies the law?) Don't inflict punishment
on this worthy and useful gentleman who acts is always on the
right side and is a useful a friend to it Don't inflict
punishment in time, it would be a gratification to that
Blake who is a low-lived and so worthy worthless
a fellow.

[+] The interest of
ale drinkers in respect
of health
so far as
concerned their health
was avowedly declaredly as nothing
in these same
very Reverend eyes
