Report 1.
p. 60 (No VIII Duties of Secretary) 1 The Secretary
is ordered to attend all meetings, ordinary or special
of the Society and the Committee, and (if required) of
the sub-committees also: to take minutes in a
book or books, for that purpose of the Proceedings
of all meetings, and to make indexes to the minute
books. —

2. To superintend the execution of orders and Resolutions
where necessary

3 To lay before the Chairman at each meeting
a list of the business of the day, including such as
shall remain unfinished at any former meeting.

4 To file all letters received and keep true copies
of all letters sent by him as well as of advertisements,
notices, &c issued by the Society —

5 To provide a book to contain the bye-
laws made from time to time, by the committee,
for their government, and to produce and
to produce the same at all meetings of the
committee.

6 To make a minute of the business of every
person calling on matters relating to the Society,
and to report the same with all letters received
to the next Committee, or to the Sub-Committee
to whom it may relate —

7 To give due notice of all the meetings of
to the several members of the Committee.
