By the And thus it is we are led to the mention thus necessarily made of the most
Reverend person at whose motion these functions were
put into the hands of the Reverend Secretary, and
at whose motion for the exercise of them in the
manner which we have seen used in the seeing of
which he had been beforehand with us, the thanks
of the meeting were as above rendered expressed to him.

That with relation to himself the proceedings
as all along reported in the Reports published by under his
order were genuine i.e. sanctioned by him received his sanction is therein asserted nor can
there be any doubt of it. But whether in any material
instance they ever received the sanction of any
other person, this is one a subject matter of doubt: and on the
question whether in any material more than two or
three or some such very small number out of so
vast a number of material instances they ever received
the sanction of the that number of persons which
by the names terms of General Committee and Sub Committees
respectively they are represented as receiving, the sincere reader
will judge whether the negative falls any thing short
of moral certainty.

Assuming The accounts published as and for
the under the respective names of the First, Second
and Third Annual Reports of the National Society
and in the 11th pages stated as "Printed at the Free School
Gowers Walk Whitechapel meaning a Free School carried
on under the management of or in union with that same Society
— the last of these accounts speaking all along throughout of the said Archbishop
under the name of the President who at all meetings of the Society had
been constantly presiding.+
