The College of Physicians — what have they been
about that all this while — such has been their negligence
it has never once so much as never has so much
as a motion been made in it giving us fixt principles
in medicine. Worthless as it is in comparison
of the sect still, were it only in the character
of the receptacle and of that part, the
body would not be altogether without its virtue

Would they Can they be at a loss for a point of time
at which to fix those principles — is it possible in a point of time sort
they should feel themselves at a loss? Let them
repair to the Bench of Bishops: by them they will be
directed to the only true and that a perpetual standard
the date of the ever blessed Act of uniformity: just two years
after the ever blessed restoration of the excellent Church
and his most Excellent and avowedly Catholic Majesty the Popish head of it.
Let them draw up a set of articles, by which the heresies
of the Cullers the Hunters the Fordyers the Linnaeans the Davys are may
be abjured.

To them this would comparatively be one easy task
They have no such incumbrance to struggle with as
the Bench of Bishops have. No Bible is there for hindrance
or any room for of the arts and sciences that minister to it

Once more why do they not repair betake themselves to his Grace
Let them without further
loss of time

of Canterbury and his Lordship of London prostrate the
profane understandings and wills before the sacred ones, and
subscribe to a "Plan of union and put themselves under the direction
of these infallible guides, and thus secure the health of our bodies
upon principles as fixt as those upon which, under their holy auspices
the health of all our
souls, but for the f
be secured, but for the perversity of the age.
