amphibious as you are, illustrious on both elements,
now that distance has established forms between us, I know not by which title name to adr address you in preference.
How go our certain memories? are you faithful or faithless?
durst you, if on a revisit to this country (and
to my feelings it has been long ago high time) durst
you look me in the face? but unless you come with
a good packet twelve inches at high at least for this
talk of mine in your hands.

To what apron string are you tied? Some one or other
is necessary to you, were it only to hope you . Something
