Dear Sir
After a year or two's deliberation and at
the advice of many of our friends we have made
some advance on the terms of our school — not so
much with a view to put money into our own purses
as to fit us for meeting the requirements of a more
opulent class of society than we have heretofore
been connected with. Into such a class we find our
selves by the assistance of good friends among whom
none ranks so high as yourself, we find ourselves,
I say, making our way, and discover that people
who have wealth will expect attentions in a measure
suitable to their ordinary scale of expences
whether paid for in the particular instance or not.
We have in consequence troubled you with the copies
of our new prospectus now sent asking the favour of
you to part with no more of the former cards.
It is our constant plan in changes like the present
to make no alteration as to the pupils already in the
