be found on his shelves —
Nichol's Anecdotes, 8 or 10 vol.
8ve, of which Mr Bentham
never had a copy — & several
large volumes of Parl. Papers
from the top shelf between the
windows in Mr M's room. Among
the which Mr B. has discovered
in his nephew, Mr M. cannot for-

bear adding his testimony to the
handsome manner he has of
doing things.
Another glance shows Mr Mill
that Mad. du Deffand's
Letters
have been taken away, which are
not Mr Bentham's but his:
also a number of volumes of
the New Annual Register.
