J.B. to Lord Chancellor Lindhurst
In the work in question the Vol 14 of the work on
more particularly Vol IV should Curiosity ever put it into your
hands and Patience carry you your eye through so many as ten pages
of it you will see no quarter given to the profession of which
you are at the head: the reproach with which that profession therein unavoidably cursed
you it rests have the option to be share in or be exempt
from: in the reproach you have had for partners the whole
of the profession past as well as present: of the exemption the
honor it depends upon you to make exclusively your curse.
So high so splendid so pure an honour it has never yet fallen in the way
of any human being in that country to behold within his
reach.
