obligation of making a stir and the any satisfaction
they may have in such a case in seeing justice
done, may be inferior to that of seeing the U.S. Government
unpopularise itself by not doing justice.

If the Ministry do not take up the matter of
themselves is it not probable that the opposition will and
thus force them to do so?

The man or men themselves can not be
brought to life: probably however they have relatives to
whom in a pecuniary shape satisfaction might be administered.
But the matter of it from what source
can it come. From none I am inclined to apprehend
unless from an Act of Congress
