My dear Sir!

When I reflect that every line I have ad—
dressed to Jeffries Sqe Sina Lang Toun, has not probably
been communicated § you, nothing but a wish § satis—
fy my own concern would have induced me to break in
on your valuable time with a separate note, having
very little more in view, then to express by grati—
tude for the facilities you afforded the travellers in the
hour of need and had for which, it is more than probable,
one of them would have been to this day, condemned to all
the horrors of idleness & inactivity— Shaw explained
in part, the motive of my return; I shall explain the
whole, when I have the pleasure if seeing and trust this
will be the case by the end of the present month. I have
