Tactics. This is a subject ofwhich, for practice,
the publication should, pretty obviously
precede that of every other. I question whether
vendible copy is to be found here I would send
my own, were it not that from what you say
in one of your letters about your purchases
in February I thought I might venture to conclude,
that a copy of Dumonts Tactique was
of the number. As to my simple essay on that
subject in English,a copy or copies of that
you took with you, or I am much mistaken.
