Queen's Square Place Westminster

M. Herrera, a distinguished citizen of a new formed
state of Central America, being on his departure for Paris, where
he proposes to pass four or five weeks, as a small token of remembrance
I take the opportunity of transmitting to you one of a few
copies which the Westminster Review people have given me of an
article, the first of mine and probably the last, which will ever have
made its appearance in that Review. In it may be seen the
honorable language in which I had the pleasure of regarding myself
as warranted in speaking of a class of French Lawyers, the Notaires,
as well as of a French work or two. I hope there is not any incorrectness
of importance in an anecdote I have given in relation to those
same Notaires : I had it from my Nephew, who, as part of the Family,
is come to London, and has been entered in Lincoln's Inn, the Inn of
court of which his Uncle is a bencher. I have the satisfaction of
finding him a highly valuable assistant in my own peculiar line.
I believe I shall add a copy of another pamphlet, intituled "Official
aptitude maximized, expense minimized": it is extracted from my
Constitutional Code and forms one of a pasticcio, forming a moderate
sized 8vo under the same title, which I expect will be out of the press
