A The pleasure perceptible from possession any article of
property, of wealth, (viz: the pleasure
of function together with that of expectation
which precedes it) are to be esteemed pure
till some reason can be shewn why
it should be otherwise.

A motive and sufficient physical power, both being recognized
for such by the party, are to be esteemed
as being about sufficient to produce the act, till some
contrary stronger and at least equal motive can be
shewn produced. assigned.
