Proportioned to the differences between the particular
sensibilities of the several persons in question will be the
absurdity of him who, in the character of a moralist,
should prescribe really the same line of conduct to be observed should in the character of a moralist or any a Deontologist should in a case in which the agent himself was the only person whose well-being was in question
by every man.
With a benefit of a certain degree of experience
every man is a better judge of what is most conduciveit may be delivered in its character of a general proposition
to his own well-being than any other man can be.
