Each man person for his happiness is more or principally
defined for in his own conduct: in his conduct in the first place
towards himself; in the next place towards other sensate beings
with which it happens to him to have intercourse in such sort
as to exert an influence on their happiness and unhappiness

How the first division of virtue Virtue All virtue in so far as if it is distinguished
reducible to one or the other of two heads or denominations
and other of the one or the other of two shapes: prudence and
effective benevolence

Prudence is either 1. purely self-regarding: or 2 extra
