Polit. Deontology
Unfortunately to take that same course is to a great extent generally
contrary to their interest, and thence to their inclination:
where it is not contrary to their inclination,
it is but too apt, for want of appropriate
intelligence i.e. judgment knowledge and active talent not within their
power: and even when not being contrary to their
inclination nor out of their power, it is actually
effected, still the in what powers demonstrating
that it is effected, which is what can not
be done without shewing in what precise way it is
effected is an easy task.
