(8) [Cause and Effect] ForOn all these reasons, accounts, but especially
the last, the juvenile mind will be earlier as prepared for
the reception of instruction with reference to — Natural History (Stage I)
than to Natural Philosophy, Stages II, III, IV. V.: and, as
between these, as forasmuch as [+] to subjecting each Stages do somethingadd [+] in each of these Stages, the
subjects included in
it add more or less,
if not to the extent, to
the number and variety
of those included in the
several
to the extent number and or variety of the objects contained
in thein those almost preceding Stage or Stages, it will be better prepared
for the branches contained in Stage I IIalone,, than asfor those contained
in Stage IIIthat and Stage III together: and the rest; and so increase on as to the rest.

it matters not where at which place: the objection so applied : and so
whatsoever degree of interest , when so applied, to it may happen to the
child to take in it, it matters not whether it even or were Pencilled in
