5. The most best institutional book would be written by a good logician
who upon entering in the task had little or no acquaintance with
the mathematics. The difficulties which had been forgotten by adapts
would present themselves to this tyro. But one who had rendered
himself a good logician, is the subject of all others to which be
it would seem to him most advantageous.

6. The further he can carry his obstinance from the technical mode
of expression, the greater is the number of pupils that the Institutionalist
may be sure of carrying with him.

§. 7. Field of Mathematics need of a general revision of it
of the field of Mathematics, for the purpose of Chrestomathic
instruction.

Should there be any person in whose eyes to any eye should any of the
observations suggestions above hazarded promise to promised afforded a prospect
of their being conducive in any degree to the wished
for purpose, to that same person a general revision receiving or serving of
the whole field of the science, with a view to the same
purpose, may perhaps present itself as a task an operation
neither altogether needless nor altogether unpromising.

In any this or in any every other track of art and science
invention and teaching what has be already been invented,
are very different operations, and for the performance of them
to the best advantage talents in some respects different, and at any rate
different situations will in general be found necessary.
