which is not real. Not to
be the name of a real entitty is
not to belong to any class or
genus of real entities, it
that of it be itself
it is impossible
that a definition per genus
should be given
it. For the genus of real
entities is it of the name of a
real entity. it is the name
employed for the designation
of all real entities put together.

If the fictitious entity in question
be not a genus i.e. if
there be a superior genus of
fictitious entities in which it
is included, it may indeed
be indeed by the supposition it
actually is susceptible of a definition
per genus et differentium,
it will have for its genus generalissimum the most extensive of
the systems of denomination
to which it belongs and in which
it is included. But by any such
definition the difficulty is only
off not removed. When
by ascending the scale you come
to the genus generalissimumum,
then your generalissimum
being a fictitious entity is the
sort of entity of which no exposition
can be given in the way shape
of definition per genus et differentium
no expression can be
given but in the shape of a
paraphrasis.
