of objects as characterised by the term of Law in question; by this
means, even be without entering into the consideration of the it's
differentia, that is without complications the definition
we shall be able to distinguish this only
real class from the various imaginary classes like

number of Laws, at pleasure. To know then what
is meant by a Law in general, we must know
what is meant by a Law: and if we know what
is meant by a Law, we can not but know what
is meant by Law in general.
