a few reflections perhaps on what we have seen
thus far may be not unreasonable not be without their use. They may
enable us in some measure to judge what sort of construction
we are likely is to be reaped to reap [from this introductory prosion
as far as we have travelled in it, and what sort of benefit
the science may have derived] from this excursion into
the land of fancy.
