Stat. Law. Inserenda
Kinds of Establish. No 1.
These are The several different kinds of Statutes, says our
Author, as if those were all the kinds there were or could be made
out of the individuals that are – whether in kinds of Statutes, as in kinds of any
other things, thing else, there are just as many as a man
sees cause to make of them. The sorts kind of Statutes
I see cause to make are much more numerous
– and it would be a pleasant controversy,
if we were to dispute about it &I to maintain; though He, that his number
was the number,: I, that mine was. In truth Wherever
a man perceives distinction between two objects
he may make two sorts kinds of them. The different
properties by which objects are capable of sho
suggesting different perceptions to us are made
by him who made those objects: but the distinctions
of nomenclature announcing serving to which announce those differences,
and by which they are marshalled into kinds, are made by us who look upon them.
The Political Sanction, he fritters into down to nothing.
