Civil Code
Division of the matter of the Civil Code into enactive and
Expositive: The Expositive necessarily occupies a large proportion:
much larger than in the Penal Code.
Rule in respect to order. Taken in hand, as far as
may be, those subjects first, which for the making of them do
not require the mention of those that follow.
