1827 Octr.
Law AmendmentPropositions
§. 2. Codification

Not altogether easy will it be to the proof that
an equally adequate sufficient guide to conduct in that situation a
guide as sufficient as a Code thus filled in be afforded
by a tissue of vague generalities although allusion to the
connection between Abraham and Sarah stand contained in it
and the of matter of it once read in the presence of the
parties by a man who has received the Holy whose distinction it is to have received
the Holy Ghost.

Under the existing system when it is their real his true desire
that obligations should be fulfilled, arrangements have not been
waiting for presenting appropriate information of those same obligations to
those at whose hands the fulfilment of them has been desired,
witness those notices by which the demands preparation has been made for the
of Assessed taxes: When any real desire has place that
to of the obligation attached to the matrimonial and other domestic family
contracts due fulfilment shall have place, the same indispensable
causes will be employed for the production of the correspondent
effects.

Relation between Father and immediate offspring. At the
commencement of tis relation there can not be the nature of the case
admitts not of the presence intervention of a public functionary for the rendering
of those so indispensably necessary services. But in the arrival
of the child junior of the parties at a certain age no hindrance to the
performance rendering of this service his place. An article requires
the Father to on the arrival of the child at the age in question
to present himself to the sort of functionary in question for this purpose
might be should have its place in this Code.

If the age at which under the existing system the child is allowed
to make a testamentary disposition is for that purpose not be cast a proper one
it can hardly be an improper one moreover hardly can it be so for the
present purpose. To the custody of the Father should an example
be on that occasion committed; to that of the child another. At
that age if it be right that he should be have in his custody his
Bible and his Prayer book it can hardly be much otherwise that in like
manner he should have
his Code.
