1827 Octr.
Law AmendmentPropositions
§. 2. Codification

To the commandment Honour thy father and thy Ruler
no reasonable objection can be opposed: but it will scarcely be contended
that of all the several dealings to the performance in of which
of which should to the child is and the father respectively be rendered
matter of legal observation the matter can be rendered as effectually
at all times present to the mind of either as by the
of a competent stock of other words they all are capable of
being made.

To the child of whatever age warning if thought necessary
might be given in the Code but by the an abuse of the information
given to him in relation to his rights, any abatement of the
honour so due should in his instance on his part be the result a consequence.
