Different modes of violating the same right
constitute different offence, as per Table.

Thus then – all portions of the matter of law, all portions
which are capable of being understood without reference to punishment
may be said to belong to the Civil Code: while all portions which
speak in a direct way of pu acts to which under the name
of offence, punishment is attached may be said to belong
to the Penal Code: such matters of the matters belonging to the Civil Code, such as in speaking of those
same matters which belong to the Penal Code are necessary to be
