The art and science shewing how application may be
made of them respectively as well as of them in conjunction with
words of common use, to the best advantage on the occasion of
them being respectively employed in giving expression to the several
of which the Pannomium in its several parts is composed,
may be characterized designated by the name of Nomography,:
a branch which is in proportion and continued on in proportion
