2. Now as to a Draught Bill of exchange. In the case of a promissory
note the making of the promise originates with the
maker and is spontaneous. In the case of the Bill of exchange a Draught
it originates with another person it is not made but at
the requisition of another person – who is stiled the drawer of the draught
who relation had to the draught is stiled the drawer
the promise is made by the person to whom the requisition
is addressed: it received its expression from the word
acceptance with his name attached: or any other word
or sign which by custom has been rendered equivalent to
it.
