By Bonaparte no distinction is made between a Conveyance
and an obligatory promise

In speaking of them both he set what he sets
out with is a legal dealing comprised of a pair of reciprocal
intended-to-be binding promises. Yet after that
still under the general head of he after speaking
of pairs of obligatory promises, he passes into the species of
conveyance stiled Vest or highest Sale: a legal treaty
or obligatory promises which may it is true be engrafted in any number but what
may have f its full effect, and in position for the import
has its full effect without any such promise on either
side.
