be in the Penal & Civil Codes.

While the connection of the relation between the matter
of the Civil and that of the Penal Code is still upon the

of operations rights and obligations which by the hand of

and made to belong to, one and the same person. He
who is in the condition of life in question, is invested with
the rights and subjected to the obligations of which it is
composed.

of the matters belonging
to the Penal Code: the matter
by which to act the character of offences

belonging to the Penal Code: the matter in and by which the
character of offences have be in an indirect way been given
to the several sorts of acts so shall with, whether under the notion of there
being so many maleficent acts, or otherwise, together with the matter
of
of these arrangements by
which to the several
correspondent wrongs,

shapes of which it is
susceptible, is or may
be understood to be applied.
