Astran. Very well Felicia: this is very well as far
as it goes. But, you do will not surely undertake to say
that the being acquainted with the matter contained under
this head is all that a man need be acquainted with
in order to be apprised of every thing that he is concerned has an interest
in point of interest to be acquainted with in relation to
Penal law?
Felicia No surely, Madam Other matter there is
which a man has an equal interest in being acquainted
with. Those which follow are the heads under which I
have ventured to arrange it. These with reference to those
others may be termed general heads: for among these general
heads there is not one the matter of which is not applicable
to the almost every one of the species of maleficent acts contained
in the table to which that I may be understood with
the less difficulty I take the liberty of attaching the importance
customary denominations of offences.
