Constitut. Code
( ) [Security]. Security is in favour to of some person
for some good or against some evil.
Belonging therefore to the consideration of security is
the consideration of the person or persons guarded
secured, the thing good or
subject matter secured, and the object: – the evil secured
or things guarded and the thing or things guarded against
and in so far as the evil has for its cause the agency
of any person or persons, the person of persons guarded secured
against.</del>
Belonging therefore to the consideration of security is are therefore the
consideration of the person to whom it is afforded, that of the good
or subject matter to which it is afforded, and that of the evil
or object against which it is afforded: and in so
far as the evil has human agency for its cause, the person or persons
against whom it is afforded.
As to good and evil, apt additions additiaments being employed
the two expressions appellatives are interconvertible: by substitution of
good, evil being produced: by substitution of evil, good. But
on some occasions the one is the more convenient
appellative; for on others, the other: on others again, both both.
Security is for good in every shape. It is therefore
Security is for property, for person person, namely against evil in
whatever shape person include (body and mind included)
can be the subject of it – for property, (the matter of subsistence and abundance) for power, for reputation
for condition in life. Condition in life The factitious entity The
incorporeal object of possession, the fictitious entity, called Condition
in life is a compound of property, power and reputation,
in indeterminate and ever variable proportions.
In so far as it is an object of value it is so in virtue of the
property, power or reputation, in which separately or collectively in some shape
or other are respectively attached to it.
In respect of the injuries of to of which they constitute
the subject matter – the injuries to which they respectively stand
exposed those objects
taken together form constitute the
basis of the penal Code.
