Constitut. Code
9. Number of its seats or station in the same process.
In respect of its seats or stations on the occasion of one and the
same process, corruption may be single-seated or double-seated:
as a balancer might say, monoecous or dioecous.
When When it is single-seated it is most simple in its nature:
when it is double-seated it is the nature of it is more
easily conceived. As in zoology, in regard to the mode of continuance
of the species. In the is By the word Where corruption is being the name
employed the idea of two parties naturally presents itself: a corruptor
and a corruptee. Thus As in zoology in regard to the mode
of continuance of the species the case where the process requires
two individuals, the individual and impregnating and the individual
impregnating, constitutes the general rule: that where the like
result takes place without any such cooperation is not altogether
without example but is regarded as an anomaly, and constitutes
an exception to the general rule.
