1. First comes the word honour. In the import sense it have given on the present occasion
it means is equivalent to fidelity to engagement. By the acceptance of the
at the hands of the person functionary in question, you have contracted an
engagement: an engagement which though not committed to working
nor the terms of it exactly defined, but it is not the less effective.
What is not finite is infinite. Were the pe In respect of some services the existence of obligation
can not be denied: for, but for an understanding that service,

But if no services are specified, service in all shapes must be
understood: had the expected services been specified, the renege of the obligation would have

presumable.

That upon fidelity adherence to fulfilment to engagement mankind is dependent for
a vast portion of its happiness, all men feel more or less sensible, all men
are made to acknowledge. Hence the rule sanctioned which the for by the
