Constitutional Code
See now how the matter stands in the case of the Monarch.
On the part In the case of a person in this situation moral
appropriate moral aptitude so far as respects his own conduct
has been seen to be at its minimum: the correspondent and opposite inaptitude,
at its maximum. In the sacrificing of all other interests
to his own will the endeavours of a person in this situation
be constantly employed. The Agents therefore for whom he will
be on the look out or can therefore be no others than those such all
whose endeavours, so far as compatible with their endeavour
to sacrifice all other interests to their own will be employed in
the sacrifice of all interests to his. As, by their own appropriate moral aptitude
the people are the causes is the cause of the like aptitude in on the part of
their Agents, so by his appropriate moral inaptitude will be the causes of
the like inaptitude on the part of his Agents.
