§. 3 Directive function

§. 1. Functions.

Art. The Defender General has a right
to attend and interpose his advice and assistance
on the occasion of any suit whatsoever.

Art. He is not bound to officiate
interpose or attend on the occasion of any suit
at in which by on behalfthe party or if more than the one the
parties on the Defendant's side a professional substitute
or assistant is employed.

3. On the occasion of every suit a
publico-private suit if which by one or more divers parties on the
defendant's side a professional assistant or substitute
or assistant is employed there remain one or more
by whom no such assistant or substitute is
employed, he is bound to attend and officiate
if thereto required by the Judge.

Art. Such requisition may be
made by the Judge, on either of his own motion
or at on the part petition of the party by whom
no such professional substitute or assistant or substitute
is employed.
