§.2. Characters or say Judicial Actors in the theatre of Justice Judicial theatre.

Art. 1. Under this Constitutional Code, on each on each occasion, actors on the
theatre of justice characters in the judicial theatre, are are these which follow —

1. The Judge: that is to say the functionary e
in that character whether as principal Judge principal
or his Judge Depute, permanent or occasional.

2. The Pursuer General or his Depute, permanent or
occasional

3. The Defender General, or his Depute, permanent or
occasional

4. The Registrar or his Depute, permanent or occasional.

5. The Members of the Quasi Jury hereinafter mentioned:
authoritatively located members of the Public Opinion
Tribunal.

6. The Members of the Visitors Company of Visitors hereinafter
mentioned: self-located, Members of the Committee
of the Public Opinion Tribunal.

7. Party or Parties on the Pursuers side
7. Party or Parties in the Pursuer's side.

7 8. Substitutes non-professsi Party or Parties on the
Defendant's side.

9. Substitutes Deputes or Assistants, non professional or professional
of the parties in the several sides.

10. Persons at attending spontaneously or in for
the sustenance of the respective parties to
the Judge, at his own instance or at the instance of a party,
attending as witnesses.

10. Witnesses. These are either 1. Litigant witnesses,
or say litigants testifying or parties testifying, of whom above; or else extraneous witnesses.
Extraneous witnesses are either 1. Spontaneous, or summoned:
summoned witnesses are namely by the Judge.
By the Judge a witness is summoned either spontaneously
or at the instance of a party.
