Enactive. Expositive
Art. 1. Judiciary functionaries — of whom is comprised the to the principal
directive portion of whom application is made by applicants and
their assistance, as per §.2.: and of whom is comprised what remains
remainder of the company of Performers in the Judicial Drama
are these —

I. In an Immediate Judicatory

I. Magisterial

1. The Judge: with his Deputes Permanent, of as to whom see
Ch. XIV.; and Occasional, as to whom see Ch. XV. and below Art.

2. The Government Registrar: of as to whom see Ch. XXI.
and below Art.

3. The Government Advocate: as to whom see
Ch. XVIII and Ch. XIX.: and below, Art.

4. The Eleemosynary Advocate: as to whom see
Ch. XX. and below, Art.

5. The Quasi-Jurors: constituting collectively the Queen's
Jury: as to whom see Ch. XXI. and below, Art.

II. Ministerial

6. Mandate Bearers: as to whom see Ch. XXX.
and below, Art.

7. Prehensors: as to whom see Ch. XXXII and below
Art.

8. Door-keepers: as to whom see below Art.

9. Guards. (Judiciary Guards) as to whom see below
Art.

10. Executionalists(a) giving functionaries employed in
10. Executioners: including functionaries: including
giving execution and effect to the ultimate decrees of a Judge, and thereby to
the corresponding ordinances,

of the law.

1. Jailors, or say Prison-Keepers or Incarcerators, of as to whom
see below Art. §.33. Judicial . 2. Quasi-L: as to whom
see below Art. 3. Prehensors in so far as employed to the purpose and in V-M: as
to whom see below Art.

II. In an Appellate Judicatory (Executionalists excepted),
Functionaries with functions and the same in nature and denomination
as the above: with the exception of Executionalists
As to these see Ch. XXII. XXIII. For
execution, the business is by the Appellate remitted to the Immediate Judicatory.

III. The Justice Minister: as to whom see Ch. XXV.

(a) [Executionalists] Executioners would have been the more simple and thence
the more convenient appellation. But, with reference to the party it has been spoilt
for
for this use, namely by being confined
to the designation of persons
employed in the infliction of
morbid punishment: or in its most extended sense persons employed in the infliction of dolorific corporal punishment.
