Art. 4. III. AmendmentInactive Exhibition requisite§. 19. Contested interpretation
reporting function.

On this same occasion, if in his view the sense of the
Legislature could not, by any defalcation words that could be de
falcated from, added addition or to or substituted to the words to
which the Appellant's interpretation applies, be more
clearly, correctly or comprehensively expressed, than
those which, in the article or articles in question,
are actually employed, he will, in lieu of Appellant's
interpretation, subjoin a correspondent opinion, term-
-ed an Amendment-Exhibitive opinion, expressing
the same by the words no amendment requisite: if,
on the other hand, any form of words has presented
itself as being of a nature more clearly, more cor-
-rectly, or more comprehensively to express such sense,
he will subjoin the same accordingly, as in the
case where exercise is given to the eventually
emendative function, as per §. 19.

Art. 4. On this same occasion, if the to the Judges Art. 8.
it appears that by opinion no alteration that occurrs to him could the intention ex-
-pressed on that occasion in the Code be either rendered more clear or the mat-
-ter of the Code improved, he will transmitt to the superordin-
-ate authorities, as per Art along with the record, his a paper
opinion to that effect, in and by the words No alteration
needful or useful: an a Judge's Amendment negativing paper
will in that case be the appelation of the papers con-
-tinuing those same words: contested - interpretation - reporting function, that of the function thereby exercised. If, on the contrary, it appears
to him, that for either of the above purposes an alteration
would be of use, he will propose the same in
such form of words as to appear more appropriate
by copying in case of simple defalcation with the words no question
adding the word dele; in case of addition the words proposed
to be added, with a description designation of the place where; in
case of subtitution, the words proposed to be inserted with a designation of with the place where, ac-
-companied by a copy of the words proposed to be defalcated or say eliminated.+
