Art. 4. Here follows the Mode of bringing forward the Amendment.
When, in any part of the law, the need of
amendment presents itself to his a man's mind any such Judge's as having
place, he draws up, according to one or other of
the forms mentioned in Ch. XI. §.2. Art. to wit to wit the directive or the reenactive, the amendment,
which to him seems most suitable. In open
Judicatory, the Public Pursuer Government Advocate and Public Defender Protector
Defender of the Helpless
Eleemosymary Advocate being present, he thereupon consults them, by
reading or causing to be read to them, the tenor
of such his amendment, with his reasons annext;
and calls upon each of them to attach mark
to the paper, as they respectively think fit, one or
other of the several responses signified by the
words Approved, Acquiesced in, or Disapproved:
giving to each of them, if desired, any such considerabletion
time as, seems requisite upon their
application respectively he shall have deemed requisite.

authorities
. At the end of such consideration time, he
transmitts, to the his several Superordinates authorities functionaries so many, to wit
wit the Judge Appellate of his District, and the Justice Minister, exemplars of a Report
containing the

exemplars of the such proposed amendment: to on each of which
them is attached marked the response of the Public Pursuer Government Advocate, as above, or
else a declaration of the invitation given and time allowed to him, or in
his absence to the senior in office of his Deputes permanent:
and so in the case of the Public Defender Protector. Defender
of the Helpless.

Art. 6. Disposed of accordingly are exemplars Of such proposed
Amendment, with the responses as above, in manner exemplars are
thereupon thus disposed of
