§. 17 17 Judges &c Locable, who. locable

Art.1 2 After the expiration of [three] years from
the commencement of this Code, and thenceforward,
no person shall will be locable in the situation of Judge Immediate,
unless he has served in the situation of
Judge Immediate Depute for at least [two] service years.

Art. 2 A service year is, on this occasion, composed not
of days that have elapsed but of days during which hours and those days of hours, during
which service has actually
been performed.

Art. 2. The term of service is for this purpose computed
not by years but by days:
and, so as the requisite
number of days hours has been fulfilled, he who has served
in the situation of occasional Depute is accordingly
as competent to be located, as if he has served the
same number of days in the situation of Permanent
Depute.
