Art. 12. On vacancy
of Judge Immediate or
Appellate, before location
of a successor, Justice
Minister, makes known
a Requirement at that
Judicatory the intended
distinct
successor to the Registrar
of the Judicatory in which
he is serving: as above
to Registrar of the vacant
Judicatory if different
adding invitation for
objections to the choice.

Art. 12. A vacancy having place in the situation of
Judge, whether Immediate or Appellate, [ ] days before
that in which a it is intended by him that a successor
shall be located
antecedently to the locating of a Successor
the Justice Minister causes to be received by letter addressed to the Registrar, makes known the intended successor at the Judicatory
in which the person succeeded successor is he is
serving, as , if it be a different one, in the Judicatory
in which he is intended to be located. As well Immediately in receipt In each
of these Judicatories, proclaimable in the letter is forthwith proclaimed, and attached to the Judicial Service Almanack
of that Judicatory, written notice in qu is given forthwith entered in the name of the Justice
Minister all any person who has any objection
to make to make the
same to the Justice person objected to, of the Justice
Minister, by this requisite name
occupation and place of abode

Art. 13. From the day on which of such proclamation has been made, the Notice is then
exposed to view,
the intended proposed Locatee being present at in the Judicatory
in which he has last served, and the Judge Pursuer

a principal, or in case of his necessary absence, some
other Judge Depute or a Depute permanent, or in his default a Depute occasional of his taking the judgment seat, any person
who has any objection to make comes forward in the character
of Pursuer, and and be the intended Locatee in the character
of Defendant puts addresses all such as

the same footing as in the case of a penal suit. In conclusion Report is
thereupon made by the Registrar to the Justice Minister by the
