6. Upon the sort of service rendered by the brave gentlemen,
a certain degree of disrepute never failed to attach upon the
character of the brave gentlemen. notwithstandin in case of the
four cardinal virtues namely fortitude which his profession necessitated
and by which he was so preeminently distinguished. Instead
of [transcendent] disrepute transcendent however is the mind
which he receives not only at the hands of the political but at
the hands of the popular or say usual : not only by judge
and
at the hands by the act of the ruling party, but by the suffrage
of the Public Opinion Tribunal: and so will be continued to
do until the film bandage is taken off the eyes of that judicatory and
the difference between right and wrong is to
it.
