Secrecy, Publicity promises
where due

5. I will not endeavour to keep secret, but on
the contrary study by all suitable means to render
in the most extensive degree public, the proceedings
in all cases except those in which the law shall
have ordained them to be kept secret.

6. I Whatsoever reproach may happen to at
any time to be cast upon me, or any other functionary of the Judiciary whether in respect of the
conduct my demeanour in the exercise of the functions
belonging to my office, or on any other account, never will I I will
not seek by means to avail myself of the by means of any power or influence
that may happen to be possessed derived by me in virtue of by reason derived from my
office, endeavour to cause cause or seek to cause or willingly suffer evil in any shape to happen be done to any
person concerned in the casting of any such reproach:
saving only, in case of mendacious or culpably
falshood designed or tending to the production of such evil effect, my right
of applying choosing demanding at the hands of to some other judicatory, for such
compensation for the injury, with or without such ulterior punishment for such such satisfaction for the wrong, or punishment or both,

7. On every occasion, on which in relation to the very part of proceedings belonging to my office, the Legislature shall have
indeed ordained secrecy to be observed, my sincere endeavour shall be
to give applied to the giving full exemption and effect to the every bondsman directed to
that end.
