Ch. XII. Judiciary Collectively
9 §.32. Judge's &c Securities &c

Aug. 19. See if this Note is not superseded
by the title Securities in Ch. XXVI. 1. Ch. XXVII
Oh yes: It can not but be.

(a) In the Table of Chapters and Sections attached to
this Volume will be seen two Chapters, namely Ch. XXVVI
Local Headman and Ch. XXXII Local Registrars, applying

applying respectively to two sets of functionaries, of
whom, and no mention for the for avoidance of prolixity
no further mention will, here be made on the occa present occasion
be made. with the exception of the few immediately
following lines.
These are — 1. Ch. XXVI applying to
Local Headmen; Ch. XXVII. applying to Local Registrars.

[+] [+] In the case of each
of the sorts of functionaries
may be seen
two distinguishable
sets of functionaries
belonging — the one which, the one
set to the only belongs
to the judiciary department,
the other
belonging to the Administrational
Department.

As to these belonging
to the Judiciary Department,
whether

Of a mixt nature are the sets of functionaries belonging to
both these sets of functionaries: one set belonging to the Administrational these sets one of them
Department; the other to the Judicial Department.
Of these functions one set is indeed composed of those
which belong to the Judiciary Department, and accordingly
come under the present head: and belong to the present Chapter: but these are accompanied
and preceded by another set, which belong to the Administrational
Department; and accordingly do not come under the
present head or belong to the present chapter.

Whether they be needful or no will depend partly upon the
extent given to the local field of service allotted to the Immediate
Judicatory, partly upon the density of the population
within that extent. unsubutigiblity, having for its effects the generation of
doubts, disputes and thence suits, and the sending
of non lawyers lawyers for the interpretation
in the hope of avoiding suits.

situations of Justice Minister, Local Headmen
and Local Registrar see the several Chapters
XXV. XXVI. XXVII.

27 Novr 1831. In With a view to style as in particular in respect of brevity of sentence, and
thence intelligibility of the sentences, the matter of of this Section, and
that of Section 5 Number in a Judicatory may have an additional
use, by its being confronted and compared with the hitherto
style
wordiness long windedness and involvedness of the hitherto
occasional style.

divers sets of functionaries
there are whose emoluments
rise in proportion
to the enormity of it.

As to wordiness longwindedness
and involvedness,
thence unsubutigiblity,
so do the emoluments
of professional
Lawyer: unintelligibility
having for its effects
the generation of transgressions,
doubts, and
disputes and thence dispute
and thence despair, and thence suits, and the sending of non lawyers to lawyers for interpretation, in the shape of avoiding suits.
