§.1716. XIV. Subjudiciary local statistic or topographical function

Art. 1. Subjudiciary local statistic or topographical
function. In the exercise of this function
he takes cognizance of all such of the following judiciary proceedings here following
as take place within his territory and causes recordation to be made of the results.

1. Every Division made of a portion of territory land or erection made on land into shares
in favour of so many that same number of proprietors, or sets of proprietors
or interestees.

2. Every Union made of any number of portions of
land or erections made on land within his territory for any special purpose

3. Every actual transfer made, of any portion of land
or erection on land within his territory from one proprietor or interestee to another: and thus, whether the change be
to take place during the
life of all interestees,
or not till after
and in consequence of
the death of the interestee
in possession
whether during life of all parties of in consequence of death
of a person interested of a proprietor or interestee.

4. Every eventual transfer made of any portion of
land: such proprietary subject: for example in the way of mortgage.

5. Every decree by which boundaries are established
between of land or of an erection on land one such proprietary subject
and another.

6. Every decree by which as between
land in property of belonging to one set of proprietors proprietor or interestees
and land belonging to another proprietor or set of proprietors
or interestees, the course to be taken by a stream of water
or the uses to be made of it, is determined.
