§. Beneficent mediation function § Beneficent mediation function

Art. 1 Beneficent mediation function. In the exercise
of this function, For prevention of litigation on application made to him, the Local Headman to
will employ employs in so far as he sees good, will apply his good offices to the reconciliation of
family differences within his territory

Art 2. For the non-exercise of the function
he is not compensationally, functionally or
responsible: only for any abuse committed of the trust thus
