Constitutional

The system of the
democrats is absurd,
and dangerous: because for
it subjugates
the well-informed to
the ill informed
classes of mankind.

Mr Burke's system
though dramatically
opposite, is absurd
and mischievous
for the same a similar reason,
it subjugates the
well-informed to
the ill-informed
ages.

Of all Tyranny
the most relentless
is that of the dead
for it can not change be
mollified.

Of all Folly the
most incurable is
that of the dead:
for it can not be
instructed.

a strange mixture
of salutary reason
and mischievous
absurdity.

One of the supposed
advantages expected
from a
democratical government
is the
saving the expence
resulting from the
extravagance of bad
economy incident
to monarchical
government. But
the whole of the
waste of the most
wasteful monarchical
government
would be defray'd
by the time & labour if
prolonged a few years in
the year, of by
the working classes.
But the carrying exercise
on the Democratical
government
according to the
spirit of it, and
according to the
intention of those
who recommend
it, require would require the
labours of
all the citizens of
all classes to be
employe'd in the
business of government. or else
Either the whole majority of
major part of the whole
labour of the
state must be thus
bestowed

bestowed or those

to understand the
business must
be governed and
outvoted by those
who do not &
can not take time
to understand it.
